This initiative aims to take advantage of the presence of this historic landmark in the Historic Jeddah area and deliver a message to thousands of tourists from all over the world who visit this area throughout the year.
Al-Shafi’i Mosque, located in the Harat Al-Mazloom neighborhood in Historic Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is unique in its architectural design. Its construction dates back to the era of Caliph Umar ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). It is said that its minaret was built in the 7th century AH (13th century AD).
We provide information about the mosque’s status in Islam and its role in the lives of Muslims. We explain the meaning of Islam, the articles of faith, and the pillars of Islam. The tour also includes an introduction to some of the mosque’s facilities, along with answering visitors’ questions and inquiries.
